I do appreciate, that we continue to use, the word. ‘Trust’ –
In being trusting of the The Lord, we place our belief and faith, in his ability to look after us, his knowledge, of what’s best.

Bruce mentions how we can ‘prepare’ –
… (doing all we can), before placing
    our trust in God.

    Have we done enough preparation?
    Can we do more? –
    I have said, many times;
‘A person needs to earn my trust’ –
We have an expectation, of another’s action, character or behaviour, – as guideline / ‘entry of trust.’ –
Yet, God, in his goodness, continues to love us unconditionally, despite our failings, and flaws.
Today, I will reflect, on my own actions,
asking myself, ‘what am I doing, to earn God’s trust?
I pray that God, through the Holy Spirit, will empower me, to ‘earn’ trust of others,
    by my words and actions.
I invite you to pray for me.

Thank you for this wonderful message today Bruce. Trust has been an issue for me especially concerning my sister in law Sonia who has cancer. But as you reminded us, once we have done everything we can, there is little else we can do except to hand it over to God. I’ve been picturing Sonia in the palm of God’s hand and feel such a sense of relief in doing so.
I’d like to also thank Rosemary for a beautiful hand written note she sent me recently. It was really touching to receive it. Please be assured of my prayers for you as I trust in your prayers for my situation. God bless you abundantly.

Thank you Bruce for that blessed reminder. Dear God, please help us to trust in you and lean not on our own understanding. Help us to acknowledge you in all our ways and you will direct our paths. Proverbs 3:5-6. In faith dear Lord I lift up my son to you. Please Lord forsake not the work of thine own hands. Your mercy endures forever. Amen.

Loving Father thank You that You deeply love and care for us more than we can ever know. I lay down my husband,my son, my parents and myself, I surrender all of us to You. In Your more than capable, loving hands I put my trust Father God. Continue to convert me Lord while I trust You with my loved ones and for myself. I ask this in Your precious name Lord Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank You Lord in advance. I love You Lord, amen…Thank you Bruce for sharing the message and prayer with us. Your story reminded me of the time I looked out of my parents kitchen window to see a huge brown snake slithering practically vertical up their driveway! I can understand and appreciate your concern. My father had dug and planted around their home for more than ten years and has never been bitten once! By the grace of God I’d say!

We never know where a “snake” may lurk and we can consume ourselves with apprehension, fear and anxiety from trying to prevent these “snakes” from attacking us, our children or our property. I read that there are 365 scriptures in both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible specifically telling us not to fear and instead to trust in God. Therefore we are actually commanded to trust. To not trust God is demonstrating a lack of faith in God and disregarding Jesus’ own requests of us. Sometimes situations occur that leave us no choice but to trust, because there is not one action we can take, or we have exhausted all efforts to protect ourselves from the threat or danger. Therefore I do my best to just LET GO and breathe and trust God and his purposes for my life.
