Thank you very much for the readings. It has helped me with my husband but not with my daughter who I have not see for a long time as my husband and I kept our disabled son who is now 35 years old We are finding it very hard coping with him but God gave him to us and we are trying our best to look after him. So please pray for us to make the decision of what we should do, keep him at home with us or put him into a home. I am very worried about his care in there. I have prayed to God and Mary should they take him so he won’t be left on this earth and fret after we have gone. Please help us with your prays. Thank you Michele

Michele, your message was truly ‘from the heart’ and I ‘felt drawn’ to comment and offer my prayers, in those decisions you make. – Firstly, may God bless you, and your husband, for the special care and love, you have provided your son. -The ongoing needs of caring for a disabled child, are many, and can take its toll, on both physical and emotional levels. God sees your challenges, and understands your fears.
Tonight, I extend my prayers, to include your family. – In surrendering your concerns, may you receive the support, strength and answers, you humbly seek.
I pray, also that your daughter will make contact, soon.
Whatever decision you make, know that it will be the right one, as God intervenes and guides you. Be assured, ….trust in the choices you make, as God walks alongside you, supporting you, every step of the way.

It would be a good idea I think to do this again but this time pray for our country, Australia

    I loved this message Bruce.
For myself, again, ‘trust’ becomes emphasised, particularly, for the answers not yet received. We can easily become entrapped, (imprisoned), or stuck, ..even ‘give up’ when we don’t ‘see’ a solution.
When I reflect, especially, on those situations, where I feel at a loss, I try my best, to seek options, if available, I look for the lesson, that each situation brings, or, I accept, surrender to God, that, which I am unable to change.
Lord, through the power of the Holy Spirit,
teach us to trust, have faith and hope in all situations, particularly those which entrap us, or seem impossible.
Give us courage, that through you, we may empower others .
Allow us to trust in your ongoing presence, your eternal love, in all situations.

Today,I pray for two dear friends, (sisters), who are not speaking, and haven’t for years. One is unable to ‘let go’ or forgive.
The situation to make amends, seems hopeless, and has caused a fracture throughout the family, from parents, down to grandchildren. Even ill health, has not allowed the situation, to heal. (Despite, an opportunity to move forward, and celebrate a special 80th birthday milestone).
I pray, dear Lord, for your intervention,
to heal this family. To release ‘the chains’ that keeps one ‘imprisoned’ by choice.
I pray for all families, that are fractured.
Lord, in your mercy….hear our prayers.

I’ve prayed for a priest, in deep depression, grief, sleepless & on the brink of despair in the 30 day prayer spirit. Very soon something happened which transformed his outlook and he told us in his sermon at Mass that I happened to be at.
I could sense that the 30 day needed to continue to sustain his new journey strength. He changed from not able to cope to coping with even more in his serving of his people.

Praise & thank you Lord Jesus. Thank you Bruce & Rosemary for your ministry.

Thank you Bruce for the encouraging message and prayer.I am going to sorely miss these prayer times and messages.I would like to say I am growing more spiritually because of them.I have had just now an opportunity to share with my sister about Pray for Someone That You Love and today’s message. This is something I don’t normally do as she isn’t at all interested in my Catholic faith. Her interest lines up more with new age and the occult. I took it as a perfect opportunity to mention how she seems to ring me up when I am on this site to let me know about difficult relational concerns within the family and problematic financial care and medical issues relating to my parents. It’s seems to come as a timely reminder to pray to my Loving Father for them even though the situations and issues relating to my family members haven’t changed as yet. Just to bring up in conversation to my sister that I will be praying for us all and the situations we are facing is a positive achievement. Thank You Lord God for this opportunity. Help me to see with different eyes like St Paul did the good You are working in my and especially my loved ones lives. My husband’s work opportunity is still yet to be further explored and my son’s work prospects hasn’t changed so far. There is no mention from them about seeking Your presence in their life within the Catholic Church. However the change has come more within myself slowly to trust in You more deeply, to surrender myself, my family, loved ones and those I am concerned as well as the situations more fully. To know more also how to be still and know that You are God and that Your ways and timing are not mine. Even if I don’t understand them Your way and timing is always for the best. Your perfect will be done Lord Provider. May I see the good of Christ working within me and may I be a good witness in the midst of any struggle, hardship, pain and suffering that I may experience in my life and especially to those around me. I ask all of this in my prayer Heavenly Father in the name of Your Beloved Son Jesus, through the power of the Holy Spirit. I love You triune God, You who love us beyond our understanding of your love for us,amen

Thankyou Bruce; Rosemary and your Team.

Your words today are so meaningful to my situation which Im having to face in my late years right now..

In my taking courage by speaking out to you and others of my current story and on other peoples behalf who have been placed in similar situations. I feel are being caused by massive Sydney Infrastructure presently taking place throughout the Metropolitan area.
I hope I create an awareness to people who can help in some way for us in this situation.

I retired two and a half years ago, being in the category of not being able to afford to Purchase a place to live in.

One year ago I moved into Independent Rental accommodation in a small Retirement Village run by a non profit organisation in Sydney on the Northern line, my thinking I will be here for the rest of my life!.
After a week of my moving into this place, I was approached by a resident and told that the place in the near future was being sold, pulled down rebuilt for Purchase Only
I was devastated and felt betrayed by the Organisation. I still do if Im truly honest!

I understand that upgrades need to occur to older Non Profit residential Retirement Villages etc for future generations to come who maybe placed in this category.

Nothing is being built or occuring for the influx of Renters currently – for Affordable living for people who are financially, economically affected that I am aware of.
Many of us dont have friends or families to assist us until we are able to find a place to live In of our own. More and more people Young and Old are being made homeless!
Us older folk who are and have been forced into this equasion are afraid and embarrassed to speak out openly as it was ingrained in our minds to work save to buy a house!!!! Due to unforseen circumstances this wasnt possible for many us people then and now.

The above is creating a Huge Dilemma for people, like myself, who are Self Funded Retirees, Pensioners who cannot afford to purchase and who are in a category of being put on a long waiting list to be placed in accommodation with other Non Profit Organisations. Which I have been advised by one of these Organisations – due to a huge influx of Renters being misplaced, that they are having to prioritize the waiting list, firstly placing people who are on a full Centrelink Pension then secondly placing people who are on a Part Super Part Centrelink pension. The latter having to wait from 18 months to 2 years or more.
Sadly, I as of today and others within this complex, have roughly 9 months to a year to move out.

In my present research with Real estate offices within around where Im living there are major apartments being built for Purchase only.
Rentals are available from around $400 and more per week. This appears to be the normal rate across the board within the Metro area now. These weekly rates will drain most of our pensions, even the category of Self Funded Retirees who cannot afford to buy, who dont meet the Government Housing Thresholds and are left facing becoming homeless too.

Its a Horrible situation for many of us people to be in due to unforseen circumstances in our lives we are a Group that appears to be put out on a Limb! It is generating fear and that Gap is widening very quickly between Poor and Rich!

Through experiencing and listening to You and Rosemary’s Ministery of Prayer, Healing and sharing your experiences with the whole World throughout this amazing month of Sept 30: 15 -5
Has given me the Strength to hold onto Your words of Ministery often saying for us to

“Surrender ourselves to God and to Trust In God fully” ,
that he knows what we are going through and that he has already planned an outcome for each one of us!

Please keep us in your Prayers that none of us become homeless, that Government’s State and Federal address an outcome for Rental Accommodation Availability promptly!

I pray that your Ministering continues to grow in abundance.
Many Blessings to You Rosemary and your Team. It has been amazing month of Insight to Prayer and Healing.
    Thankyou
    Kindest Regards
    Coleen

Challenging!! But read the story of Marie Balter, {Nobody’s Child}, A more modern day example of someone overcoming incredible 17 years in a mental institution and able to draw strength from an old testament scripture….” I will build an alter to God from the broken pieces of my heart.” I will keep on keeping on with my prayer.

    • Antoinette | | Reply

I love the scripture Bernadette (my confirmation name and saint), wrote above; “I will build an alter to God from the broken pieces of my heart”. It becomes a beautiful prayer and a goal to reconcile all of the pain that has already transgressed in my past that I don’t really know what to do with, because I find it unacceptable and unforgivable. I can’t find comfort in phrases like “That which doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” or “It’s for the greater good”. Who wants to be stronger only to endure more painful experiences? The other cliches create almost an angry, resentful feeling feeling within me. What I’m saying is that even if all my current prayers for this 30 day challenge were answered, I would still not be able to put the traumatic, past experiences behind me. They would continue to haunt me forever. But the scripture above provides a lovely process and a path to take to deal with a painful, prolonged past experience.

I thank God for the Catholic Guy Team because you have helped us by this 30-15-5 Challenge to achieve so much …
Since this Challnge began, the Person we Love and have been praying for, has received the courage to stay away from drinking. She stood to loose everything but our dear Father in Heaven has sent a buyer to purchase her house so that the bank won’t have to reposess it. This means she may have enough money left over to start again. She has come back home to live with us while she gets back on her feet and will go to a job interview tomorrow after being out of work for nearly a year due to alcoholism.
And our Lord has given me the strength and the love I have needed to show her, my step-daughter, that she is loved and deeply card for.
The focus this prayer challenge has given me has been very rewarding and I pray that God will bless you and everyone who took up this challenge abundantly.
    Wendy

I crashed 21/9 and spent the whole day weeping. Then I received the strength to phone a Helpline which has pointed me in directions of which I was not previously aware. Now I am feeling much better and able to cope with the circumstances which brought me to my knees. Thank you
