Thank you Bruce for your encouragement today. God puts out so many road signs for us and this is one of them. This exact thought has been playing on my mind for the last couple of weeks and you put it so succinctly. Thank you again and God bless you and your team. You are making a difference in the world.

Dear Lord thank you for your words today , that you put in Bruce lips. You know that we as a Christians, struggle all the time to live according to your wishes , because the world around us is living with different values. Many times I think that I was born to make a difference around me, at work, within my friends and family but without you is not possible. Help me Lord to find a way to live in the standard that you called me to live, to love as you love, to see as you see, to forgive as you forgive. Amen

Thank you, Bruce, for your Ministry and this Lenten program. Thank you for breaking things down so well and so simply. The last few days have been inspiring, encouraging and refreshing. I pray for a good Lent this year; that I won’t let it go like past years and use this time wisely and gratefully that God has given me to continue to be transformed to love and to serve God and others.

I believe that there have only been two people who have lived their lives “beyond” reproach, and They are the two people I strive to be like….Jesus and His Mother Mary. As a retired catechist I had each class commit to memory …Lord come and teach us, help us to remember what Jesus said…fill us with your love. Amen.

Thank you Bruce for the simple and meaningful message. I will take your advice and reflect on am I striving to live the life God wants for me, a life beyond reproach? Or am I inclined to follow society? Lord I want to follow Your ways, help me Jesus to follow You who is beyond reproach.

I often struggle with being a Christian because I have taken to heart that we should follow Christ’s example in loving, turning the other cheek etc. – striving to live beyond reproach. Often I have allowed myself to become too scrupulous and beat myself up because I fall so short of this goal. My prayer is that all of us will do the trying at all times but forgive ourselves when we fail and for myself especially not to allow the failures to stop me from continuing to try. Thank you for your work.

That’s perfect Deidre, I struggled so long with this concept, it kept me in unhealthy relationships because I wanted to more like Jesus. I don’t think religious studies cover this topic much at all, I have friends who feel alienated by Christians / God because they feel they are not good enough. I still struggle with it, I think I am going to listen to that recording again.

So well said and thank you for the prayer at the end, it’s needed for we (I) cannot do it alone.

Thanks Bruce for your guidance in helping me reach closer to Jesus. It has really moved me and I’m truly understanding more and more each day of who I am and how my lord wants me to be. ‘ Lord, as difficult things can get in our daily life, please stay with me and help me to seek you deeply and let go at times and let you do your work. I also pray for Bruce and his team to continue your good works. In Jesus Amen’

Lord, I pray to live beyond reproach. I can never attain perfection. I have a few unacceptable behaviors and many more acceptable behaviors. Keep me mindful of the standard you want me to reach. Continue to allow me to love the camellias blooming, the cardinals that visit the red berries on the dogwood tree in the front yard, to see the squirrels playing in the trees and the chipmunks scurrying through the monkey grass. Keep my vision where it is and improve my vision. I pray for myself and for the many who never see what, so far, you have given me sight to. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.

Thank you Bruce for the message. I pray that God may help me as I strive to do his will.

It’s easier to attain “above reproach” when all is going well but way more difficult in response to situations that are unjust, in which others are far from above board in their dealings with us. Impeccable in speech and behavior is truly a wonderful way to live and with a goal to even take it to the point of avoiding the appearance of evil, when it might only look that way, is something to strive for. These really are good things to be self aware of on a daily basis. Thanks…
