Terrific to day. There was a little thing that disturbed me yesterday in your talk. Your granddaughter winning the “Good at everything ” award. What pressure for the rest of her life.!!

Lord Jesus, I like the prodigal son was lost in sin, and yet our Blessed Lord never failed calling me back to Him.
I felt I also had to go and ask a friend that I needed help. I was the prodigal son and I went to my earthly father
and told him what I did wrong and He said to me I saw you son, he waited all this time for me to tell the truth and
never said a word I emptied out my heart to my dad. Not long after I was able to go to reconciliation and receive
Our Lord Jesus Precious Body and Blood. Then as I remember thing I could go and ask Jesus would He forgive
me. The older I got the more desperate I needed His company, now I want to become Our Lord servant. Thank
you Bruce for You have given me the courage to give my life to Our Lord Jesus.
Jesus I Trust in you. Amen

I pray for those who are dealing with habits they know are bad to be transformed and lead a Holy life.

Mmmm… challenging!! I so often look at others who have sinful habits rather than looking within. Thankyou Bruce for alerting me to this roadblock in my life and offering ways of breaking sinful habits.

The Holy Spirit has been given to us , in our time of need let us never fail to call on Him.

Change is one of the most difficult things to commit to unless, like the younger son in todays Gospel we “come to our senses”, and begin to realise the unloving ways we have slid into. Sometimes the warning bell comes from an outer experience and sometimes it comes from within, either way we see it , I believe it is the Holy Spirit that we were Baptized into that is so gently touching our hearts that grants us the grace to “turn back ” to our centre where we discover God has been waiting for us. No questions asked as we are restored to our rightful place.

I discovered this sending. Hearty congratulations. Very good reflections. Interestingly, in some of the Indian languages, the word for fasting is UPAWAS. UPA means NEAR,CLOSE. The term WAS means to sit, to stay,to reside. So fasting is anything we do to come closer to the Divine in me, in others, in creation, wherever we are. It is fitting with all that Bruce is sharing in these reflections. Once more, THANK YOU AND I PRAY FOR CONTINUED BLESSINGS ON YOU AND YOUR TEAM. PIUS THEKEMURY, PATNA, INDIA

Staying the same is easy. Change is hard. Jesus, I pray for changing that which depletes me. I am grateful for my confidants. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.

Bruce I would like to add that temptations can be just as depleting in our lives as are habitual sin and I believe your advice in your message can be useful in both cases.

Requesting extra prayers for our son. He is incarcerated for manufacturing and dealing in “meth”. He is 52 and his sentence is 12 years. He is given the chance to go to rehabilitation and possibly reduce his time. We pray the Holy Spirit helps him overcome the nasty habit.

Oh Lord how great is your love for all of us., how big is your mercy and your wish that the children of God be good, happy and free of sin and bad habits that block the light of total freedom and real love. Help us to recognize all the dark corners in our life, to see inside of ourselves and make a holy place for You
