Yesterday’s teaching about maybe not being right and being open to allowing God’s will because God is the Big Picture reminded me that expectations are the things that lead me into darkness and hurt and umbrage and confusion. So once again I ask to walk in faith knowing that I will fail to live up to other people’s expectations as they will fail to live up to my expectations, but to, in this year of mercy, get over it and not hold accusations and justice closer than forgiveness and humility. Darkness of heart is not a place I want to be. Thank you Lord for dragging me kicking and screaming back into the light.

Thank you Bruce for your message and prayer. I imagine those nine days you and Rosemary had spent in America must have been deeply spiritual and had drawn you both even more closer to God. Lord God I want to seek you. Show me what You want me to do for the remaining time of Lent so I can also be closer and deeper with You, I pray in Jesus name, Amen

With “fingers of faith” I trust in my Lord Jesus Christ as he holds our hand through this vicious cancer which has afflicted my companion. I have felt him at work and he has lifted a small veil so I am sure God is The Great Physician on this journey, as is the Manderson Center and Druid City Hospital. He, God, has led us to nothing but the best. And the camellias this year have been outstanding. Have not seen them bloom like this in about 30 years. I love camellias and the house is full of God’s beauty.

God asked us to go to the Calaway Young Cancer Center in Glenwood Springs CO. My husband has pancreatic cancer Stage 4. We found God is this disease. We knew God, but we didnt know God. What a journey. We are living the best life we have ever lived through this awful disease. We are ready for the final chapter….it could be remission, a cure with a clinical trial, or the cancer will return with a vengeance and Ed will go home to the Lord. We are blessed, happy, peaceful, ready. P.S. please pray Bruce and team…he wants to live and I dont want him to go….but we are blessed, happy, peaceful, and ready!! Amen!!

On Saturday morning, I went to Manly church, one with family history but not the church I would normally attend. It was the end Mass for 24 hours with the Lord a special event for the year of mercy and Lent. I went early and did indeed have a great time just me and God, and the mass was great. More than that, I found peace in the singing and the homily, and a new great magazine I knew nothing about available there on the pews for people to take up, read, and pass on. That magazine produced in Sydney called Frankly, was so full of beautiful ideas and photos to allow the reader to reach more deeply into God’s love. I felt like I had won a prize and I am still reading it and sharing it with my family. i hope it will reach them too, with its articles and one minute ways to be with God in your daily life. I think I have found my new subscription magazine. It was somewhere I would not normally go and a time when I would not normally be in church but it was amazing, backed up by the Saturday vigil mass that night.

Thank you Bruce for your help in the looking inside of us ,knowing us better and discover in us all the places that need to be seeking for God presence. I am from Sydney , Australia and I am visiting North Carolina USA because my daughter who lives here with her family, gave birth to a baby boy last week. I am very happy to be able to help her in this special moment in her life as he is her first baby, But also they have with them a 17 years old ,son of her husband from a previous marriage.this boy is autistic .As happy as I feel to be here, sometimes I need to seek God presence for him to helps me to live in the difficult situations this boy reacts at every moment during the day.As you said Bruce I need to understand that God had a plan when He decide to put me here for a while. Guide me oh Lord to see where and when can I help my family, send me the strenght of the holy Spirit, for me to be humble and compassionate as You are.In You I trust
